Privacy Policy
Plain-language summary: RefineAI is designed to process your dictated and written content on your Android device. RefineAI does not collect or store your checkout email on RefineAI-operated servers. Stripe separately processes payment and receipt information under Stripe's own privacy policy.
Information processed by the app
RefineAI may access microphone input, text you choose to refine, and content needed to perform features you request. Core AI processing is designed to occur locally on your device. RefineAI does not sell personal information or use your private content for advertising.
Permissions and user control
Android permissions are requested only when needed for features you choose, such as microphone access, notifications, accessibility or display-over-other-apps functionality. You can revoke permissions in Android Settings, although affected features may stop working.
Purchases and subscription status
Stripe processes checkout details, including the email address needed to provide receipts and administer purchases. RefineAI does not collect or store that checkout email on RefineAI-operated servers. Stripe's collection, retention and security practices are governed by Stripe's separate terms and privacy policy. To validate a paid license, RefineAI may process a license token and limited entitlement status such as plan type, active or inactive status, and paid-through date. Payment-card data is never stored in the app or on RefineAI-operated servers.
Storage, sharing and retention
Your app content remains on your device unless you intentionally share it through another app or service. Local content is retained until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Limited licensing records are retained only as needed to provide, secure and document purchased access.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No system is guaranteed completely secure. RefineAI is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices and contact
You may revoke permissions, delete local app data or uninstall RefineAI. For privacy requests, use the current support contact published at refineai.download.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
